PROTECTING OUR SENIORS
The shameful nursing home scandal at the onset of the COVID pandemic will not be swept under the rug. We need to find out what really happened so that we achieve justice for the victims and their families. Not only must we strengthen laws that protect our seniors but we also need a comprehensive set of new laws to protect against elder abuse.
- I will sponsor legislation that will strengthen laws to protect our seniors.
We must protect seniors not only from physical harm but also against being the victims of financial fraud and scams that are all too common in our state.
